The dedicated and experienced therapists at Bassi & Gartner have provided services in a variety of settings including pediatric rehabilitation hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools and within client homes. We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach in order to help our clients achieve their fullest potential. This multi-disciplinary approach allows us to consult with other professionals including, neuropsychologists, psychologists, physiatrists, teachers, special educators, physical therapists and occupational therapists and refer a client for additional services if necessary. By maintaining a strong professional relationship with a variety of disciplines, we are able to provide the necessary resources to treat the individual as a whole.

At Bassi & Gartner we strongly believe in family education and training. We partner with families to achieve our clients' short and long term therapeutic goals. At Bassi & Gartner, we are committed to providing families/clients with strategies and techniques in order to promote carryover of newly acquired skills within a natural environment.

Although we do not subscribe to one methodology, we are committed to being educated regarding the latest methods, techniques, strategies and research in order to best addressthe individual’s needs. We utilize a variety of therapy approaches and techniques to reach the maximum potential of each individual.

Corinne Bassi M.A., CCC-SLP, TSHH is a licensed and registered Speech Pathologist in New York. She is also a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Corinne completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Speech-Language
Pathology at New York University. She worked for the NYC Board of Education as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped for two years with children in grades K-5. She then acquired medically-based clinical experience while working and supervising graduate students
at a pediatric sub-acute and rehabilitation hospital in Westchester County. Additionally, she has provided services in client homes through the Early Intervention program both in NYC and Westchester County. Areas of interest include therapeutic feeding (infants, behavioral
feeding difficulties), preschool and school aged language delays, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), traumatic brain injury, oral-motor therapy, articulation delays/disorders and phonological processing disorders.

Alison Gartner M.S. Ed., CCC-SLP, TSHH is a licensed and registered Speech Pathologist in New York. She is also a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Alison received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from SUNY New Paltz. She acquired medically-based clinical experience while working and supervising graduate students at a pediatric sub-acute and rehabilitation hospital in Westchester County. While working at a pediatric outpatient facility, Alison treated children ages 0-5 years and supervised Clinical Fellows. Additionally, she has provided services through the Early Intervention program both in NYC and Westchester County both in client homes and at facilities. Alison provides therapy in both English and Spanish. Areas of interest include therapeutic feeding (infants, behavioral feeding difficulties), preschool and school aged language delays, auditory
and language processing, articulation delays/disorders, oral-motor therapy, traumatic brain injury and Apraxia of speech.
